The IMAGINE project consortium, comprising professionals from different parts of Europe and coordinated from Catalonia by the institutions from Barcelona Institut d’Investigació en Atenció Primaria IDIAP Jordi Gol and the Institut Català de la Salut (ICS), meet in person in the city of Rethymno (Crete, June 20 and 21).

A review of the work done

This meeting will serve to analyse the evolution of the project from 2023 to the present and next steps to be taken by the 6 work packages that make up IMAGINE. It will also provide a space for debate and study of future actions for the 14 partners of the consortium. The focus will be on work related to nursing homes in terms of infections and antimicrobial resistance (AMR), as well as actions to spread awareness of this public health issue among stakeholders and general public.

At the University of Crete (UoC)

The University of Crete Gallos Campus, precisely at the UoC Research Center (UCRS), will host the meeting, with IMAGINE’s Greek partners as the hosts.

Stay tuned this week for must-know updates on antibiotics, elderly urinary infections, nursing home health, and antimicrobial resistance!
